TULSA, Okla. – It was announced this week that two Tulsa Sports Commission events, the Big 12 Wrestling Championship 2020 and the USA BMX Grand Nationals 2020, have been named Champions of Economic Impact in Sport Tourism.
Management of sports destinations, the leading publication with the largest circulation of sport event planners and tournament directors in the sport tourism market, unveiled the winners of the 2020 and 2021 Economic Impact Champions in Sport Tourism presented by traveling teams .
This year’s winners are responsible for contributing a more than welcome boost of over $ 400 million to the national economy over the past two years.
