St. Louis Blues will exclusively broadcast preseason games in the Bally Sports app, but you will still need Cable, Satellite or STREAM DIRECTV

Hockey is almost back and the St. Louis Blues will exclusively broadcast their NHL preseason games for the first time.

While St. Louis Blues games are normally broadcast on Bally Sports Midwest, none of their games will be on television. Instead, you’ll need to stream them from the Bally Sports app or the BallySports.com website.

Beginning with tomorrow’s game between the St. Louis Blues and the Minnesota Wild, three of the team’s eight games will be streamed live on the Bally Sports app and on BallySports.com. Fans who log in through their provider can stream games live.

But, unfortunately, unless you get Bally Sports Midwest from your cable, satellite, or live TV broadcast service, you won’t be able to stream the game. Indeed, you will need to use your TV credentials. Everywhere to authenticate the Bally Sports app.

What is TV Partout? When you (or a member of your household) subscribe to a cable, satellite or streaming package, you will have access to the Bally Sports app. With the Bally Sports app you will have access to live games from your local RSN Bally Sports. It will work on your streaming player like Apple TV, Fire TV, and Roku – or on your mobile device.

So how can you stream them without cable?

As of August 2019, Sling TV, fuboTV, YouTube TV and Hulu + Live TV have removed Bally Sports Midwest from their live TV streaming service.

So what does a Blues fan have to do? While Sinclair may launch direct-to-consumer service in mid-2022, with the NHL season almost on its way, you still have an option to stream the Blues’ pre-season and regular-season games – DIRECTV STREAM.

With DIRECTV STREAM (formerly AT&T TV), you can stream RSN Bally Sports including Bally Sports Midwest to Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV (through their Osprey Box), iOS, Android, and your computer.

If you sign up for DIRECTV STREAM, you will also have access to the Bally Sports app, which can be authenticated with your DIRECTV STREAM credentials.
