  • Houston Astros vs. Kansas City Royals at Minute Maid Park | From Monday 4 July to Thursday 7 July – This four-game series brings the Royals to town on Independence Day, as well as Hello Kitty night on Tuesday. $12 and up. Hours vary.
  • Sugar Land Space Cowboys vs. El Paso Chihuahuas at Constellation Field | From Monday 4 July to Sunday 10 July – El Paso returns to Sugar Land for a six-game series that kicks off with an Independence Day show complete with giveaways and fireworks. Plus, you can enjoy other themed nights with discounts on concessions, Marvel characters and more. Note that no game takes place on Tuesday July 5th. $7 and up. Hours vary.
  • Popsicle Dash at Karbach Brewing Co. | Saturday July 9 – Start your morning run and cool off as it warms up with frozen treats and cool foam at the Spring Branch Brewery. $40 and up. 7:30 a.m.
  • Houston Dynamo FC vs. FC Dallas at PNC Stadium | Saturday July 9 – Mexico international Héctor Herrera makes his Dynamo debut against the team’s main rivals from the north. $22 and up. 7:30 p.m.
  • The Galveston Family Beach Challenge at East Beach | Sunday July 10 | FREE – Compete as a family on a larger-than-life obstacle course on Galveston’s East Beach. Families will compete for gift cards and VIP tickets to Galveston attractions as they participate in 14 stations for kids and adults, including games like beanbag toss, life-size battleship, limbo, soccer ball, and more. volleyball, and more. Free, but registration required. 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
