APSU Football Releases 2022 Kickoff Times – Clarksville Online

Clarksville, TN –The Austin Peay State University (APSU) Department of Athletics has announced kickoff times for the five-game home football schedule that begins Sept. 3 when the Presbyterian travels to Fortera Stadium.

This season opener against the Blue Hose kicks off at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, the only night game at Fortera Stadium in 2022. The remaining four home games are scheduled for kick-off at 3:00 p.m.




“We have listened to our fans for the past two years regarding kick-off times,” the APSU vice president and athletic director said. Gerald Harrison. “We wanted to have the opportunity to take advantage of a night game and all the opportunities it will give us from a marketing and promotion point of view. Otherwise, the feeling was that an early afternoon would be best to accommodate our fans and their busy weekend schedules. We can’t wait to see Fortera Stadium filled with our fans cheering on Governors this season. »

In addition to home game schedules, Austin Peay State University has included kickoff times for its six road games on LetsGoPeay.com, including the previously published 11:00 a.m. kickoffs for the opener. of the season at Western Kentucky, Aug. 27, and the regular- season finale at Alabama, Nov. 19.

Benefits for season ticket holders for the upcoming season include memorabilia made from Fortera Stadium turf, on which APSU won the 2019 Ohio Valley Conference Championship. subscription holders include a ticket collection party and early access to fan fest 2022.

Additionally, season ticket holders will have the opportunity to purchase a ticket to the regular season finale game in Alabama as the APSU Governors make their first-ever trip to Bryant-Denny Stadium. Season ticket holders also get priority access to Austin Peay State University and Nashville Predators events.

Austin State University Peay Athletics will announce additional membership benefits throughout the 2022-23 season.
